The Trix-Twin Collectors Association (TTRCA)

http://www.ttrca.co.uk

Founded in 1975, the TTRCA is a  non-profit making organisation for Trix enthusiasts. The Association produces the TTRCA Gazette, the club magazine full of interesting and helpful articles.

Join the TTRCA to find out about the superb spare-parts service, essential if you intend running your old trains. I highly recommend the TTRCA, so take a look at www.TTRCA.co.uk and contact the membership secretary.

The Trix-Twin Collectors Association holds several get-togethers every year. These provide an opportunity to see layouts in action, buy spares and collectables from sales tables, and chat to fellow collectors. Details of forthcoming events are on the Trix Twin Collectors' Association website, which also provides information on how to join, association news, and a history of TRIX.  Photos taken at previous TTRCA events are also on view.

Tony Matthewman's The History of Trix H0/00 Model Railways in Britain

Published by New Cavendish Books, this lavishly illustrated work is a must for all TRIX enthusiasts.

It starts with Bassett-Lowke and the original Trix company in Germany, and charts Trix history in the 50's and 60's (Dufay and Thernglade) through to Liliput in the 70's. Loco blueprints, prototype models, rare versions, literature, and much more are included.

Please note that this book is now out of print.
